Indeed, the open-fronted style of British graduation robes is used all over the commonwealth with most institutions using black fabric for their academic gowns. Our bachelors gowns have traditional Magyar, or batwing sleeves. Whilst our masters degree gowns have authentic twin-serif flare long sleeves with an opening above the elbow to allow the wearers arm to exit freely.
